The writing and editing process has gone far for smoothly and quickly than anticipated, so it’s looking like an early-mid January release! I’ll post the specific date as we get a little closer!

Unbound paperback has launched!
I’m absolutely thrilled to announce the long-awaited paperback of my novel UNBOUND is available now through amazon print-on-demand. In the future I hope to host in-person signing events, but our current status during this ongoing pandemic make that uncertain for the time being.
What is certain, however, is that the hard work I put into developing this novel has been worth it. I edited, did graphic design, formatting, conversion, publication, the interior map, graphics, and marketing myself—with the exception of the original cover art by Reid Palmer. It’s been a long road, but now that I have learned these skills, using them to produce books 2 & 3 will be far easier, allowing me more time to focus on writing and editing.

About the Author
Christian J. Gagnon grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick on the east coast of Canada, and studied creative writing at the University of New Brunswick. He then worked as a farmhand, trained as a blacksmith, then went to college to become a chef (which all seemed quite sensible at the time). He has been writing short stories and home-brew campaign worlds for Dungeons & Dragons for twenty years, which his friends sometimes even enjoy. He proceeded to work himself to near-death in the hospitality industry for many years before completing his first fantasy novel at the age of 30-something. He still lives in Moncton, and will probably die there.
